How We Store Information
Here we really start digging into some of the fundamentals of NLP.
Understanding how our brain stores information by deleting, distorting & generalizing what is coming into the unconscious mind & why it does this, allowing us to have a clear understanding of how the brain truly works.
So we take in 2 million bits of information that are broken down to 134 pieces, then 7 + / – 2 bits by….
Deletions which are very useful so that we can process the most meaningful information in our conscious mind & then delete the rest of it so our awareness is not overloaded.
Distortions are useful for our imagination & goal setting so that we can make our reality what we would like it to be.
Generalizations are useful so that we don’t need to relearn basic things over & over again.
