Joanne is certified by the Third Sector Interim Executives Academy in strategic transitional leadership of mission driven organizations. She is the award recipient of the 2022 True Blue State of New York Leadership Award, 2019 Hartwick College Distinguished Alumna Award, 2018 New York State Woman of Distinction Award. She serves as a founding member of Hartwick’s Institute of Public Service Leadership Council. She also is a long time Board member of the NY’s Eleanor’s Legacy organization, now in its 25th year. Joanne Dittes Yepsen served for 12 consecutive years in elected public office as two-term Mayor of Saratoga Springs and four-term Saratoga County Supervisor. With over 30 years of progressive leadership, Joanne is a highly regarded six-term elected public official, expert in problem-solving, navigating complex governance structures, and leveraging relationships to achieve challenging objectives. Joanne has served as a guest speaker, facilitator, and mentor to train and mentor the next generation of leaders. She has recently completed the certification with the Jay Shetty Certification School and will offer leadership coaching to her organizational and individual clients.
